I have worked within the public sector of Social Services and National Health since 1988. I undertook my core training in Psychotherapy and Counselling at Regents College, and then continued as a psychodynamic counsellor with Kings College working at Guys Hospital.
I hold medical qualifications in Hypnotherapy at advanced practitioner level from The London College - the only college in the country which trains medical practitioners.
I also have a Master of Science degree in the treatment and diagnosis of mental health issues, from Kings College in conjunction with Guys Hospital London.
Over the years I have supplemented those initial qualifications with training in numerous other schools of psychotherapy, making me now a leading Integrative Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist.
An Integrative Therapist is one that treats each client as a unique individual and rather than attempting to use only one style of therapy will use a wide range of tried and tested techniques to reach an effective resolution for the client in the shortest time possible.
I am accredited to the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and the National Council of Psychotherapists (the oldest psychotherapy organisation for registered practitioners in the UK). Both have a clear code of conduct, confidentiality and clear ethics which can be viewed online.
I also hold full public indemnity insurance. |
